Vicki Lynn Shannon, 63, of Flemingsburg, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.

Born in Maysville on February 16, 1961, she was the daughter of Rondal "Ron" Shannon and Bonnie Dugan Shannon.

Vicki had worked for DP & L and also had worked at D&S Stop and Shop.  She was a member of the Victory Assembly of God where she taught Sunday school and played the piano.

In addition to her parents Bonnie and Ron, Vicki is survived by her brother, Jack (wife Angela) Shannon; her two nephews, Jack (wife Janet) Shannon, Jr. and Joshua (wife Rosanna) Shannon; her niece, Jennica Shannon; her great nieces and nephews, Kyle Collett, McKayla Collett, John Collett, Kasey Shannon, Kaitlyn Shannon, and Lindsey Shannon.

Vicki was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jack and Hattie D. Shannon; and her maternal grandparents, Ernest and Ada Garr Dugan.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Sunday, August 4, 2024, at the Victory Assembly of God with Bro. Larry Joseph officiating.

Vicki will be laid to rest in Wedonia Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Jack Shannon, Jack Shannon Jr., Joshua Shannon, Jennica Shannon, Kasey Shannon, Kaitlyn Shannon, Kyle Collett and McKayla Collett.  Honorary pallbearers include Lindsey Shannon and John Collett.

Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., at the church located at 587 Taylor Mill Road, Flemingsburg, Kentucky 41041.
