Mrs. Vicky Grannis Peake, 63, of Flemingsburg, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at her residence.

She was born February 21, 1952, in Lexington, KY, the daughter of the late Herbert "Duby" and Jean "Jeanie" Wood Grannis.

Vicky was retired from the restaurant industry in Orange Beach, Alabama before moving back to Flemingsburg, she was a very knowledgeable sports fan and a die hard UK fan, and a member of the Elizaville Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Lee Peake of Flemingsburg; a son Thomas Welch Hudson of Nicholasville; brother, Lee (Nancy L.) Grannis of Bethany, Conn; nieces and nephews Kathryn Jean, Dr. Jennifer Lynn, Herbert "Chip" IV and Winston R.; daughter-in-law, Crystal (Tim) Brewer; grandchildren, Katheryn, Elizabeth, Alex, Marcus and Edward; and one great-granddaughter, Paisley. Longtime friends Carolyn McIntyre, Janet Adams, Greg (Carolyn) Boling and Dawn Nichols.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Nickels "Nick" Garrett and a brother, Terry Grannis.

Memorial graveside services will be at 2 PM Wednesday November 18, 2015 at Elizaville Cemetery.
