Obituary
Wanda L. Hurst, 77, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe.
Wanda was born September 3, 1939 in Fleming County to the late Virgil and Lola Gladys Sapp Planck.
Wanda was retired from Fleming County Hospital where she had been the housekeeping supervisor for 19 years. Wanda was a longtime member of Wallingford Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years Donnie Hurst; children Mark, Kenny and Jeffery Hurst; siblings Terry Planck and Lonnie Planck; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wanda was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren and her parents.
Funeral services will be at 11 am Friday January 13, 2017 at Wallingford Holiness Church with Bro. Tom Redmon officiating
Burial will follow in Wallingford Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday at Boone – Nickell Funeral Home and 9-11 am Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Care Club (PO Box 189 Flemingsburg KY 41041)
