Wanda Mae Jackson Taylor, 66, of Flemingsburg, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022, at her residence.
Born in Mason County on July 30, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Geneva Mae Boulden Jackson and Robert Preston Jackson.
Wanda worked at McDonald's in Flemingsburg for 27 years. She was a member of the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Lewisburg, Kentucky.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 47 years, Rev. Randy Taylor; her five children, Lamont Taylor and wife Debbie, Madonna Taylor, Quantessa Taylor, Tara Crumbie and husband Aaron, Kimberly Dillard and husband Lou; her 19 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Wanda is also survived by her 14 siblings, Patsy Taylor, Edna McKee and husband Terry, Bonnie Boulden and husband Genie, Linda Myrick, Charlie Jackson and wife Birgit, Annette Lynn Jackson, Terry Jackson and wife Roberta, William Jackson and wife Ramona, Bobbi Jackson husband Charlie, Phoebe Jackson, Michael Jackson and wife Amaryllis, Anthony Jackson, Rodney Jackson, and John Jackson and wife Michelle.
In addition to her mother and father, Wanda was preceded in death by six of her siblings, Donald Jackson, Rose Marshall, Beverly Ann Jackson, Marilyn Jackson Taylor, Brenda Lee Jackson, and Dorothy Jackson.
All services will be held at the Flemingsburg Baptist Church at 1856 Elizaville Road, Flemingsburg, Kentucky 41041.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., on Saturday, February 19, 2022, with Rev. M. L. Radford and Rev. Joseph L. Owens officiating.
Wanda will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park located at 3500 Maysville Road, Flemingsburg, KY 41041.
Pallbearers will include Wanda's grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., on Friday, February 18, 2022, at the church. Morning visitation will begin at 9 a.m., Saturday, until the hour of the service at 1 p.m.
Boone-Nickell Funeral Home is caring for Wanda and her family.
All in attendance are strongly encouraged to wear face masks and to observe social distancing.
