Warner Ray "Eggie" Cooper, 66, of Poplar Plains passed away Tuesday morning August 21, 2012 at his home with his family by his side. He was born April 30, 1946 in Fleming County to the late Enos & Nettie Honea Cooper. Eggie was retired from GTE after 30 yrs plus of service and was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Fleming Masonic Lodge #112 in Flemingsburg, KY and the Oleika Shriners of Lexington, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Glenn Cooper.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years Debbie Cooper

Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday August 24, 2012 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Howard Fischer officiating. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Masonic Rites will be at 7 PM Thursday.Pallbearers will be George Hunt, Donnie Carpenter, Johnny Ball, Doug Vice, Marty Vice, Chuck Ramey, Scott Weaver, Steve Hammond and Rhonda Hall in memory of Bobby Hall. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Care Club.
