William Scott "Bill" Emmons, 54, of Ewing, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville, KY.

Bill was born September 10, 1960, in Maysville, the son of Marvin Lloyd and Alberta Littleton Emmons.

Bill worked 26 years for Jockey International and 4 A½ years at Flemingsburg Elementary School as a custodian. Bill was an avid sports fan, he loved watching football, basketball and baseball.

Bill is survived by his wife, Amy Mitchell Emmons; special niece Gracie Mitchell; brothers Marvin (Debbie) Emmons of Flemingsburg & Anthony Lee Emmons of Lexington; sister, Carol (William) Thompson of Hillsboro; nieces, Taylor Emmons, Julie Banks, Jessica Fortwengler and Lucinda Pease; nephew Tyler Emmons; numerous nieces and nephews in the Mitchell family; several great nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and a nephew William "Willie" Thompson.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, April 10, 2015, at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Engle, Bro. Tom Redmon and Bro. Dean Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Elizaville Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 - 9 PM at the funeral home.
