William C. "Bill" Gilvin, 68, passed away Friday morning October 21, 2011 at Pioneer Trace Nursing. He was born January 29, 1943 in Fleming County to the late Austin D. and Fannie Foster. He was a very talented musician playing and, singing with John Burke & The Layman Trio, traveled with Christian Family Travelers Trio, Paul James, and God's Harmony Aires. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters.

Children: Michelle (Michael) Vencill & Scott (Kelly) Gilvin

Step Children: Kristal (Robert) Humphries & Amy (Donnie) Reed

Brothers: Frank, Gene, and Ronnie (Charlene) Gilvin

Grandchildren: Brittany & Grant Gilvin, Alicia, Alex & Zach Vencill

Step Grandchildren: Quentin Humphries, Hannah & Brandon Reed

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Monday October 24, 2011 at Boone -Nickell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 - 1 PM Monday at the funeral home.
