Obituary
Willie Alice McKee Taylor, 92, of Tilton, passed away Monday February 6, 2017 at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home.
Willie Alice was born in Fleming County on February 19, 1924 in Fleming County to the late Marion & Jennie Hornback McKee.
Willie Alice was a loving mother and aunt who had been a homemaker. She was a long time member of Tilton United Methodist Church.
Willie Alice is survived by her daughter Sharlene Taylor; sisters Dorothy Finch, Gladys Jackson and Lorena (Cleveland) Woodard; several nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Neil George Taylor; brothers Otha Reece, Cleveland Roosevelt, Vernie, Sammy and Lester Lee McKee; sisters Aola Anderson, Anna Lizzy McKee, Ivetta McKee.
Funeral service will be at 1PM on Friday February 10, 2017 at Boone – Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Harmon and Sister Gail Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in Fleming County Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 – 1PM Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
