Winnie R. Bigelow, 71, of Flemingsburg, passed away Tuesday evening April 2, 2013 at Fleming County Hospital. She was born May 16, 1941 in Fleming County to the late Edmond & Oleta Thomas. Winnie had worked for the Fleming County Board of Education as a bus driver before her retirement. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years Tommy A. Bigelow; children, Tommy N. (Amanda) Bigelow and Teresa (Greg) Arrasmith of Flemingsburg; Jackie (Jerry) Lowe of Maysville; brother Billy (Gloria) Thomas of Flemingsburg.

Grandchildren, Ashley (Eric) Ross, Sara Arrasmith, Payton & Carter Bigelow and great granddaughter, Lucy Ross.

She was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Shelby and Kenneth Wallingford

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Saturday at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Eubanks officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 - 9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Roger Hedger, Jerry Lowe, Barry Arrasmith, Greg Arrasmith, Don Lee, Larry Tucker, Paul Cropper, Anthony Lee & Sam White.
