Adrian Taylor Williams, 84, of Wallingford, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at his residence.
Born in Mount Carmel on August 8, 1938, his parents were the late Joseph H. Williams and the late Margaret Taylor Williams.
Taylor worked as a Tool and Die maker most recently for Hypac and he worked a longtime farmer. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Taylor is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley Doyle Williams; his three sons, Scott Williams and wife Betty, Chris Williams and wife Tina, Danny Williams and wife Michelle; his seven grandchildren, Kayla Rushing and husband Tyler, Dylan Williams, Aleah Williams, Kyle Williams, Dalton Williams, Cain Williams, Cole Williams; two great grandchildren, Adriana Rushing and Cooper Rushing. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Larry “Buck” Doyle and wife Brenda.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Joshua Tavis Williams; and in laws, Jean Hester, L.D. Doyle, James Howard Doyle, Joan Toller.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
Taylor will be laid to rest in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
W.N. Fant American Legion Post #5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834 will be performing military rites.
Pallbearers include Kayla Rushing, Dylan Williams, Aleah Williams, Tyler Rushing, Kyle Williams, and Dalton Williams. Honorary pallbearers include Adriana Rushing, Cooper Rushing, Cain Williams, and Cole Williams.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, at Boone-Nickell.
