Albert Crump

Albert Glenn Crump, 79, of Flemingsburg, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023, at his residence.

Born in Bath County on October 12, 1943, his father was the late Alva Crump and his mother was the late Edith Pearl Arrasmith Crump.

Albert worked for Randall Textron (A Raymond Tinnerman Manufacturing).  He retired after 44 years in machine maintenance.  He was a member of the Tilton Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rose Ann McKee Crump; along with several nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to his parents Alva and Edith, he was preceded in death by his son, Randy Wayne Crump; and his three siblings, Ruby Louise Porter and her husband Eugene, Earl Brooks Crump and his wife Mabel, and William Kenneth “Bill” Crump.

The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Sister Gail Skaggs officiating.

Albert will be laid to rest in Longview Cemetery in Bethel, Ky.

Pallbearers include Mark McKee, Darryl Dotson, Brian Dotson, Doug Crump, Parker Sills, and Noah Griggs.  Honorary pallbearers include Terry Griggs, Fred Adamson, Matthew Truesdell, and Melvin Hickerson.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 6, at Boone-Nickell.
