Obituary

With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we regretfully announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother, Alice Pugh.  Alice, affectionately known as “Gran”, wholeheartedly embraced her roles as a loving wife, devoted mother, esteemed teacher, and unwavering soul. On Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the remarkable age of 80, she peacefully departed this world surrounded by her family.

She was a woman of immense warmth and boundless kindness.  Her nurturing spirit touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.   As an educator, she imparted knowledge, wisdom, and values to generations of students, shaping their minds and igniting their dream.  Her dedication to education was unparalleled, and her impact will reverberate for years to come.

Above all, she was a beacon of love within her family.  She radiated joy, her infectious laughter and tender affection embracing all who were fortunate enough to know her.  Through her gentle nature and caring demeanor, she epitomized the true essence of motherhood.  She showered us with unconditional love, unwavering support, and sage advice.  Her presence filled our lives with comfort and reassurance, and her absence will be deeply felt.

Though our hearts weigh heavily with grief, we find solace in the knowledge that our beloved is now reunited with her loved ones who preceded her.   Embarking on her eternal journey, guided by the light of her faith and the countless memories she leaves behind, she will forever remain in our hearts.
