Brandon J. Richards

Brandon Joseph Richards, 34, of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019.

Brandon was born on June 25, 1985 in Morehead Kentucky to Bobby Richards and Rose Lee Richards.

Brandon was a veteran having served in the Army National Guard and attaining the rank of E3. He had worked in construction, Amazon and most recently Landmark Landscaping. He attended Southland Christian Church.

Survivors include his mother Rose Lee (Stan Van De Pol) Richards of Lexington and his father Bobby and wife Robbie Richards of Flemingsburg; his son Austin Joseph Richards and his mother Tracy Teegarden of Robertson County; sister Amanda and her husband Sean Lawson of Richmond and their son Seth Lawson; brother Phillip Adkins; step-sister Yvonne Harmon and her children Avarie and Jacob Harmon; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 9, 2019 at Boone – Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Utterback officiating.

Brandon will be laid to rest in Fleming County Cemetery. Military rites will be performed by the W.N. Fant American Legion Post #5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834.

Lucas Campbell, Jonathon Campbell, Brady Allen Carroll, Randolph Vance, Jerry Vance and Dewayne Vance will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fleming County 4-H (P.O. Box 192 Flemingsburg, KY 41041) for fishing poles and youth development.
