Delbert Wayne Dugan, 85, of Maysville, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home.
Born in Mason County on May 31, 1937, he was a son of the late Calvin Dugan and the late Sadie Long Dugan.
Delbert was a farmer. For 16 years he was a Grippo’s delivery driver. For 15 years he was a part of the Foster Grandparent Program for Mason County Schools. He was a member of the Faith Assembly of God in Maysville.
He is survived by his son, Wayne Dugan of Ewing; his two sisters, Margaret Leet of Flemingsburg and Mary Alice Grayson of Maysville; along with many extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Delbert was preceded in death by his siblings, James Dugan, Charles Dugan, Estill “Bussie” Dugan, Ernest Dugan, Lola Jane Rigg, and Cecil Caskey; special friend, Faye Bloomfield; and the mother of his son, Elizabeth Dugan.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
Delbert will be laid to rest in Wedonia Cemetery.
Pallbearers include J. R. Caskey, Jay Planck, Mark Leet, Malhon Dugan, Darrell Planck, and Donald Dugan. Honorary pallbearers include Ashton Leet McCoy, Tracey Dugan, Tommy Thomas, Vince Shivley, and Dalton Leet.
Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Thursday, at Boone-Nickell.
