Dennie Gene “Dee” Buckler, 71, of Flemingsburg, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022, at Clark Regional Medical Center.
Born in Maysville on September 17, 1950, he was the son of the late Nellie Buckler.
Dee was a lifetime farmer who worked for Bob’s Food Service, a farmhand for Glen Woodard Farms, and for Williams Concessions.
He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Cook; his nephew whom he considered a son, Randy (Debbie) Williams; his five grandchildren, Destiny (Nathan) Bray, Emily Harmon, J.J. Harmon, Richard Parks, and Robert Parks; and two of his siblings, Jane (Mark) Caudill and James “Pushup” (Edna) Watkins.
In addition to his mother Nellie, he was preceded in death by two of his siblings, Ray “Dump” Anderson and Judy Kay Williams.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2022, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Hawkins officiating.
Dee will be laid to rest in Longview Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Randy Williams, Jason Buckler, Timmy Buckler, Nathan Bray, Charlie Anderson, and Derek Buckler. Honorary pallbearers include Glen Steven, Billy Watkins, and Billy Hart.
Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Friday, at Boone-Nickell.
