Donnie Keith Duncan, 64, of Flemingsburg, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Florence Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Fleming County on April 6, 1957, he was the son of the late Roy “Skitter” Duncan and the late Eva Jolley Duncan.
Donnie was a retired farmer, an employee of Carl Rose, and an employee for Goodyear of Flemingsburg. He attended the Flemingsburg First Church of God. Donnie was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Susan Marie Wallingford Duncan; his two sons, Jason (Carrie) Duncan and Dale Lee Duncan; his four grandchildren, Ethan (Abby) Duncan, Kegan Duncan, Taylor Duncan, and Carson Duncan; and his great grandchild, Arabella Ann Duncan. He was loved by his faithful companion, ToJo; and his best friend, Geneva Mitchell. He is also survived his siblings, Betty (Gerald) Hunt, June (Huston) Hunt, Gary (Diane) Duncan, and Robin Hunt.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ashley Dewayne Duncan; and his brother, Larry Duncan.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. James Ray Hickerson officiating.
Donnie will be laid to rest in Fleming County Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Ethan Duncan, Kegan Duncan, Darrell Hunt, Chris Fry, Donald Wallingford, and Codey Hunt. Honorary pallbearers include Carson Duncan and Claudie Reeves.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
In compliance with state mandate, masks are required for those in attendance of all services.
