Frankie Elgon Rigdon, 66, of Muses Mills, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center.
Born in Mason County on January 17, 1953, he was the son of Loretta Hurst Rigdon and the late Frank Rigdon.
Frankie was the head bus mechanic for 26 years for the Fleming County Board of Education.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Joani Donahue Rigdon; his son, Brad Gray and Alisha; his son, Jody Gray and Melissa; his daughter, Lisa Earlywine; his five grandchildren, Dalton, Emily, Tanner, Makenna, and Harrison; and three additional granddaughters. He is also survived by his brother, James Robert Rigdon of Fleming County; his sister, Patricia Young and Gene of Bushnell, Florida; and his sister, Anita McCoy and Bobby of Menifee County.
In addition to his father Frank, Frankie was preceded in death by his infant son, Jason Lee; and his brother, Martin Jeffrey Rigdon.
Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, December 21, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Reeves officiating.
Frankie will be laid to rest in Muses Mill Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Brad Gray, Jody Gray, Dalton Gray, Tanner Gray, Chuck Rushing, Chuck Hurst, Morris Gardner, and Bobby McCoy. Honorary pallbearers include Charles Hurst, Billy Newsom, Calvin T. Muse, Jerry Dillon, Ronnie Donahue, and Doug Masters.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., Friday night, at the funeral home.
