James Allen Hickerson, 56, of Flemingsburg, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020, at Maysville Nursing and Rehab.
Born in Fleming County on July 9, 1964, James was the son of the late Clyde Hickerson and the late Beulah Mae Perkins Hickerson Rose.
James was a farmer who worked for Doyle Mobile Homes and was a van driver for Comprehend. He was a member of the Wallingford Christian Holiness Church.
James is survived by his wife of 31 years, Nanci Fulton Hickerson; his son, Josh (wife Tessa) Hickerson; his daughter, Regina Williams (companion Ronnie Vibbert); and his grandchildren; Jase Hickerson, Jonathon Allen Hickerson II., Heaven Marie Hickerson, and Shyla Ballard. James is also survived by his brothers, Melvin (wife Marlene) Hickerson and Steve (wife Florence) Hickerson; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.
In addition to his parents Clyde and Beulah Mae, James was preceded in death by his son, Jonathon Allen Hickerson; his brother, Vernie Perkins; and his half brother, Gerald Lewis.
Service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. James Ray Hickerson and Bro. Herbie Stallard officiating.
James will be laid to rest in Fleming County Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
