Jeffery Harmon, 55, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Saint Claire Regional Medical Center.
Born in Fleming County on November 26, 1966, he was the son of the late Hershel Harmon and the late Arizona Buckler Harmon.
Jeffery was a farmer who worked for Donnie and Linda McDonald as well as Garey Harmon.
He is survived by his six children, Ashley Harmon, Courtney Harmon, Eric Zachary Harmon, Destiny Harmon, Emily Harmon, Jeffrey Harmon, Jr.; his three grandchildren, Jared Beamon, Summer Harmon, Grayson Dials. He is also survived by six of his siblings, Albert (Lisa) Harmon, Roger Harmon, Carolyn (Everett) House, Darlene (Clarence) Gallagher, Michael Harmon, Barbara (Bobby) Harmon; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two of his siblings, Ray Harmon and Judy Harmon.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Saunders officiating.
Jeffery will be laid to rest in Longview Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Brian Gallagher, Eric Zachary Harmon, Tommy Saunders, Garey Harmon, Clarence Gallagher, and Joe Wade. Honorary pallbearers include Nathan Bray, Gary Hamilton, and Colby Gallagher.
Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Thursday, at Boone-Nickell.
