Obituary

Jerry L. Purvis, 54, of Flemingsburg, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Born in Evansville, Ind. on March 7, 1969, he was the son of the late Carl Lee Purvis and the late Joellen Brady Purvis.

Jerry was a lifelong contractor and also worked as an Addiction Counselor at The Brook Hospital in Louisville, The Beacon House, and The Healing Place.  He also loved to fish and cook in his free time.

He is survived by his two children, Aaron Lee Purvis and Amber Dawn Purvis; his three grandchildren, Kamryn Lee Purvis, Brennan Purvis, and Jaylyn Purvis; his fiancée, Brenda Lamkin; his sister, Angela Parson; and several dear friends.

Honoring Jerry’s choice, he will be cremated with a celebration of life to be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the Double S Bowling Alley in Flemingsburg, Ky.

In place of flowers, donations in honor of Jerry may be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses (Boone-Nickell Funeral Home 150 W. Water Street Flemingsburg KY 41041).
