Obituary

Johnny Davis Rigdon, 50, of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, at his residence.

Born in Dayton, Ohio on January 4, 1973, he was the son of Sharon Noreen Hock Rigdon and the late Johnny Davis Rigdon.

Johnny worked as a truck driver and construction worker and most recently worked mowing for Swartz Mowing.  He had been a volunteer firefighter for Muses Mill Fire Department for several years until his health began to decline.

He is survived by his three children, Sarah Rigdon, Savannah Adams, and Adam Rigdon; his four grandchildren; his mother Sharon; his sister, Leslie Madonna Wright; his two nephews, Jeremy Wright and Dawson Wright; his niece, Abbi Heizer; along with extended family members and friends.

In addition to his father Johnny, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Patricia Rigdon; and his cousin, Steven Rigdon.

A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Newman Cemetery with Bro. Herbie Stallard officiating.
