Judy Conley

Judy Conley, 74, of Wallingford, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, at her residence.

Born in Maysville on January 8, 1949, her parents were the late Wilbur Watson and the late Jean Cooper Watson.

Judy was the owner and operator of Conley’s Grocery for 40 years and she loved her customers. A member of Ramey’s Chapel, she enjoyed singing at her church and being with her church family.  She enjoyed getting to spend time with her family.

Judy is survived by her husband of 55 years, Evan Conley; her daughter, Melissa Ford and husband Mike; her two grandchildren, Ryan Ford and Makayla Ford.  She is also survived by her brother, George Watson and wife Vicki; along with many extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents Wilbur and Jean, Judy was preceded in death by her nephew, Eric Watson.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Ford and Bro. Ronnie Conley officiating.

Judy will be laid to rest in Muses Mill Cemetery.

Pallbearers include George Watson, David Watson, Shawn Royse, Ryan Ford, Rick Marshall, and Ronnie Conley.  Honorary pallbearers include Steve Newsom and Tom Hamm.

Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service on Thursday, at Boone-Nickell.
