Julia Ann Cline Purdon, 77, of Morehead, passed away at her residence on Sunday, January 3, 2021. She was the widow of Michael A. “Mike” Purdon.
Born in Lexington on July 25, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Cline and the late Viola Lee Sapp Cline.
Julia worked as a certified nurse’s assistant (CNA) for Fleming County Hospital. She worked for Fayette County Home Health and Saint Claire Home Health. She attended the Johnson Church of God.
Julia is survived by her son, Rob (wife Amanda) Purdon of Morehead; her daughters, Kelly Jane (husband Bill) Little of Tennessee, Connie (husband Dwight) Allen of Ewing; her grandchildren, Brian (Jamie) Allen, Adam Allen, Amber (husband Derrick) Mynear, Ashley (husband Jason) Mynear, Will (Katy) Little, and Carey (husband Ryan) Miller; several great grandchildren; along with several cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Services will begin at 1 p.m.., Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. John Hatfield officiating. Service will be live streamed online at www.facebook.com/boone.nickell
Julia will be laid to rest in New Alfrey Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Brian Allen, Adam Allen, Derrick Mynear, Jason Mynear, Darry Cline, and Mike Cline. Honorary pallbearers include Connie Nickell, Rayburn Nickell, Dwight Allen, and Bill Little.
Visitation will be 12 noon until 1 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
In compliance with state mandate, masks are required for those in attendance of all private services.
