Leroy Conn

Leroy Conn, 64, of Wallingford, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Fleming County Hospital.

Born in Maysville, Ky. on December 11, 1958, his parents were the late Ronald Earl Conn and the late Gladys Ruth Stafford Conn.

Leroy was a gravedigger for many local cemeteries.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Angie Conrad Conn; his two daughters, Michelle Helphenstine and Kim Highfield (Darren Stacy); his three grandchildren, Lexie Highfield (Tyler Terrell), Makenna Highfield, and  Jherika Wallingford.  He is also survived by his sister, Linda Kay Rayburn; his sister-law, Wanda Conn; along with many extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three of his siblings, Ronnie Conn, Leona Faye Gooding, and Orville Ray Conn.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Monday, August 14, 2023, at the Beechburg Christian Church with Bro. Greg Grimes officiating.

Leroy will be laid to rest in the Beechburg Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Jeremiah Moyers, Todd Morris, Wesley Highfield, Steve Fearin, Darren Stacy, D.R. Lowe and Troy Lemming.   Honorary pallbearers include Debby Conrad, Philip Marshall, Danny Johnson, Ron Morgan, John Ritchie, and Tom Gorman.

Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Monday, at the church located near 3301 Beechtree Pike, Wallingford, Ky. 41039.
