Michael McKee Obituary

Michael Wayne McKee, 58, of Wallingford, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Fleming County Hospital.

Born in Fleming County on June 12, 1964, he was the son of the William Harold McKee and the late Shirley Richmond McKee.

Michael was a lifelong mechanic and worked for Cheap’s and Litton Ford.  He also owned and operated his own garage.  He enjoyed being outdoors and loved to go horseback riding.

He is survived by his daughters, Ashley (Andy) Pollitt and Linda (Jamie) Donaldson; his grandchildren, Jaylin and Jace Pollitt; his father, William Harold McKee; his three siblings, Janice (Rex) Shepherd, Glenda McKee, Jimmy Lee (Rebecca) Presley and Eugonda Fryman; and his K9 companion, Buck; and his extended family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his three siblings, Scotty McKee, Harold Ray McKee, Harold Lee McKee and Judy Ann Little.

Honoring Michael’s choice, he will be cremated with a celebration of life to be held, 1 to 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Fleming Mason Energy Auditorium.

In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Michael may be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses (Boone-Nickell Funeral Home 150 W. Water Street Flemingsburg KY 41041).
