Mignon Ann Rucker, 75, of Flemingsburg, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023, at her residence. She was the widow of Leonard Paul Rucker.
Born in Fleming County on September 25, 1947, her parents we the late Orville Muse and the late Dorothy Emmons Muse.
Mignon worked in childcare for 35 years. She also worked as an eldercare giver and had previously worked for Pizza Hut and the Family Shoe Store. She was member of the Family Worship Center.
Mignon is survived by her two daughters, Ceonia (husband Tony) Leet and Katie (husband Brent) Humphries; her eight grandchildren, Hannah Leet, Heather (Wilder) Williams, Maria Humphries, Gracie Humphries, Conner Humphries, Skyler Humphries, Ethan Humphries, and Isabella Humphries; and one great grandchild, David Michael Williams. She is also survived by two of her siblings, Orville Muse, Jr. and Dale (Brenda) Emmons; along with special friends, Mary Nickell, Val Holman, Crystal Cook, Elizabeth Dye, and Connie Gray.
In addition to her husband Leonard and her parents Orville and Dorothy, Mignon was preceded in death by her grandson, Jax Price; her grandson, Andrew Skyler Leet; and her sister, Emily Mae Muse.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. David Hickerson officiating.
Mignon will be laid to rest in Elizaville Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Derrick Brooks, Darrin Brooks, Drew Brooks, Bryson McKee, Troy Steward, and Kaden Ervin. Honorary Pallbearers include Michael Emmons, Billy Ray Plummer, Bobby Gray, Mike Maher, Johnny Adams, Jerry Shannon, Branson Leet, and Garrett Leet.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 9, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041.
