Ricky Wayne Pendland, 64, of Flemingsburg, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Baptist Health Lexington.
Born in Xenia, Ohio, on May 15, 1955, he was the son of Alvena Bradford Davenport and the late Thurl Pendland.
For 30 years Ricky worked for several tobacco warehouses in the Maysville area, worked for Cooper Mobile Homes, setting up mobile homes, and worked for the Horton and Denton families doing farm work.
In addition to his mother Alvena, Ricky is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Ann Gardner Pendland; his daughter, Kerri Pendland Moran and John Corlis; his grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Moran, Logan Wayne Moran, Lauren Ann Moran, and Talon James Moran. He is also survived by his brothers, Thurl (Linda) Pendland, Jr., and Randy (Rhonda) Pendland; a host of nieces and nephews; and a host of special friends including his childhood friend, Timmy Greer.
In addition to his father Thurl, Ricky was preceded in death by his brothers, Danny Pendland and Alex Charles “A.C.” Pendland; and his sisters, Lynn Ishmael and Linda Curtis.
Service for Ricky will be 11 a.m., Saturday, November 23, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Vise officiating.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., Friday night, at the funeral home.
