Rodney Hamilton

Rodney Gene Hamilton, 57, of Flemingsburg, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023, at his residence.

Born in Mason County on September 30, 1965, he was the son of Richard Hamilton and Mary Helen Barton Hamilton.

He was a construction worker for RGF Inc., ASL Inc., and NSA Inc.  He was a member of the Bald Hill Tabernacle.    He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors, playing cards and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Carol Catchings Hamilton; his two daughters, Madison Brooks & husband Derrick, Abigail Christiansen and husband Cole; his three grandchildren, Isabella Brooks, Colton Brooks, and Avery Christiansen.  He is also survived by his four siblings, David Hamilton and wife Connie, Peggy Shrout and husband David, Dickie Hamilton and wife Deborah, Ellie Thomas and husband Wes. 

The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, January 6, 2023, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. David Hickerson and Bro. Kevin Hickerson officiating.

Rodney will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park.

Pallbearers include Phillip Faris, Gordon Phefer, John Douglas Catchings, Jacob Richmond, Chase Brown, Chaston McFarland, Gary Jolly, and Adam Jolly.  Honorary pallbearers include Timmy Gulley, Elbert Hickerson, Brian Doyle, D.W. Brown, Manuel Camargo, and Felipe Mahia.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Boone-Nickell.
